I just retired from fulltime preaching among the churches of Christ in November of 2006. I had preached fulltime for 43 years. I stepped back from fulltime work to give more time to writing. I have worked with churches in Arkansas, my home state, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas. My wife, Margaret, and I have four children, all of whom now live in Texas. That's why we recently moved from Arkansas to Texas. We presently live in Longview (northeast Texas), but hope to soon be in Kilgore, just 10 miles southwest of Longview.

I have also been working on a website called The Preacher Shiop (http://www.thepreachershop.com). Hope I can give more time to it soon.
